Dharmendra was a carpenter from the Deoria district in Uttar Pradesh. He had come to Mumbai just three months ago to find work. He was hired by a contractor and had been living on the 22nd floor of the same building for about a month. Police believe that he may have woken up during the night, lost his balance, and accidentally fallen to the ground. Residents discovered his body on the morning of July 6 and immediately alerted the police.

Why Investigations Are Important

The police are currently looking into the circumstances of his death. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been filed, and officers are now checking if there was any negligence on the part of the contractor or site managers. Communication was initially delayed because the contractor was hard to reach due to heavy rains and power outages in the Vasai area.
