CCB Books 19 People For Dangerous Bike Wheelies and Public Drinking

The City Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested 19 people in a major crackdown. These individuals were caught doing dangerous stunts on their bikes, riding with three people on one motorcycle, and drinking alcohol in public places. The police decided to take strict action after receiving many complaints from the public. Residents in many areas were tired of the noise and danger caused by these reckless riders.

The Danger of Bike Stunts on Public Roads

Doing stunts on public roads has become a big problem in many cities. Young riders often try to perform a "wheelie." A wheelie is when a rider lifts the front wheel of the motorcycle into the air while riding on the back wheel. This stunt requires a lot of balance, but when done on a busy street, it can easily lead to severe accidents. It puts both the rider and innocent pedestrians in great danger.

Along with wheelies, the CCB also found many cases of triple riding. In India, the law says only two people can ride a motorcycle at one time. When three people sit on a single bike, it becomes very hard to control. The brakes do not work as well, and the balance of the bike is lost. This often leads to terrible crashes, especially when the riders are speeding.

Law and Order Challenges Across the Country

While local police forces are working hard to keep the streets safe from these reckless drivers, other parts of the country are facing different kinds of crime. For example, in West Bengal, security forces are busy handling political violence, such as when a TMC leader's wife was arrested in a Falta attack plot. This shows that police departments across India have to deal with many different types of law and order issues every single day.

The CCB's special drive was highly planned. Officers in plain clothes were deployed in various parts of the city. They watched the spots where youngsters usually gather to perform stunts. When the riders started their dangerous acts, the police team moved in and caught them. Many of these young men were also found drinking alcohol in public parks and near their bikes.

The Issue of Public Drinking

Public drinking is not just a nuisance; it is also illegal. When people drink in public places, it often leads to fights and makes the neighborhood unsafe for women and children. The CCB has made it clear that parks, roadsides, and empty plots are not places for drinking parties. Anyone caught doing so will face strict legal consequences.

Many experts believe that young people engage in these dangerous activities because they are looking for thrill and attention. With the rise of social media, many riders film these stunts to get views and likes online. They do not realize the real-world danger of their actions. This desire for attention sometimes comes from a deeper feeling of isolation. It is important to note that mental health experts are worried about the growing sense of isolation among youth. Some reports even highlight a silent epidemic where India is becoming the second loneliest country in the world. When young people feel lonely, they might turn to risky behaviors like rash driving or public drinking to feel connected or noticed.

Strict Action Against Offenders

The police have seized all the motorcycles involved in these crimes. Many of these bikes had modified silencers to make loud, disturbing noises. The police will now check the registration documents of these vehicles. If the bikes are modified illegally, the owners will face extra fines. The parents of the minor riders will also be called to the police station and warned.

The CCB has warned that this drive will continue in the coming weeks. They have asked citizens to report any such illegal activities in their neighborhoods. Safe roads are a shared responsibility. Parents must also make sure their children do not have access to fast bikes if they do not have a valid license or if they do not follow safety rules. By working together, the community and the police can make the city streets safe for everyone.
