Kartavya Path gears up to showcase the seven lethal assets that shook Pakistan

Every year, as the winter chill fills the air in Delhi, our hearts swell with pride watching the Republic Day parade. It's a day of vibrant colours, incredible discipline, and a celebration of our diverse culture. But this year, on our 75th Republic Day, the Kartavya Path isn't just showcasing floats. it's rolling out some serious muscle.

This parade is a powerful message. It’s a display of India's strength, our 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India) in defence, and a clear signal to our neighbours. Let's take a closer look at the seven incredible, made-in-India assets that are set to march down the Kartavya Path and why they are considered game-changers.

1. Pinaka: The Rain of Fire

Imagine a storm of rockets raining down on the enemy. That's Pinaka for you. This isn't just one rocket. it's a Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher system that can fire a full salvo of 12 rockets in just 44 seconds! It can completely saturate a large area with firepower, making it impossible for the enemy to hide. It’s fast, deadly, and a nightmare for any adversary.

2. ATAGS: The Long-Arm of the Army

ATAGS, or the Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System, is the big gun on the block. Developed by DRDO, this howitzer holds the world record for the longest-range gun in its class. It can accurately hit targets almost 48 kilometres away! Think about that – it can strike deep into enemy territory while staying safely within ours. It's a perfect example of Indian engineering at its finest.

3. Swathi Radar: The Watchful Guardian

You can't hit what you can't see. That’s where the Swathi Weapon Locating Radar comes in. This incredible system is like the army's sharpest pair of eyes. It can instantly detect where enemy artillery, mortars, and rockets are being fired from. As soon as the enemy fires, Swathi tells our soldiers exactly where to fire back. It protects our troops and ensures that any attack gets an immediate and powerful reply.

4. NAG Missile System: The Ultimate Tank Buster

If you're an enemy tank, this is your worst nightmare. The NAG missile is a fire and forget anti-tank guided missile. This means our soldiers can lock onto an enemy tank, fire the missile, and immediately move to safety. The missile is smart enough to find its target on its own. Mounted on a special vehicle called the NAMICA, it's a highly mobile and lethal tank-hunting machine.

5. MR-SAM: The Unbreachable Sky Shield

The modern battlefield isn't just on the ground. it's in the air. The MR-SAM (Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile) is our protective shield against any threat from the sky. Developed jointly with Israel, this system can take down enemy fighter jets, drones, helicopters, and even missiles from a distance of up to 100 km. It creates a no-fly zone for our enemies, keeping our skies and our soldiers safe.

There’s more to life than simply increasing its speed.

6. Anti-Drone System: The Silent Drone Hunter

Drones are the new threat in modern warfare. They are small, cheap, and can be used for spying or attacks. India's new Anti-Drone System, which will be on display, is the perfect answer. It can detect enemy drones, jam their signals to make them crash, or even shoot them down with a laser. It’s the 21st-century solution to a 21st-century problem.

7. Sarvatra: The Bridge to Victory

War isn't just about fighting. it's about moving. What if our army needs to cross a river or a deep gorge where there are no bridges? That's where the Sarvatra Mobile Bridging System comes in. This is a truck-mounted, foldable bridge that can be laid down in minutes, allowing our tanks, trucks, and soldiers to cross any obstacle and continue their advance without delay. It’s a crucial tool that keeps our army moving.

A Glimpse into the Future: Meet the Robotic Mule!

As a special bonus, the parade will also feature a four-legged robotic mule! This isn't science fiction anymore. This robot is designed to carry supplies and equipment for our soldiers in tough terrains like the Himalayas. It reduces the burden on our jawans and shows that the Indian Army is not just powerful today but also getting ready for the future.

This Republic Day, when you see these magnificent machines on your TV screen, remember that they are more than just weapons. They are a symbol of a strong, confident, and self-reliant India. They are the guardians of our peace.
