Hollywood royalty like Elizabeth Taylor was a huge fan. He also designed the iconic wedding dress that Jacqueline Kennedy wore when she married Aristotle Onassis in 1968. He dressed queens, princesses, and first ladies, making every woman who wore his clothes feel like a star.
Valentino passed away peacefully at his home in Rome, surrounded by his loved ones.
For those wishing to pay their respects, his foundation announced that he will be lying in state in Rome on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 27th, at the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri in Rome.
