Brij Bhushan Sexual Harassment Case: A Final Decision Expected on August 3

The long-awaited trial involving former BJP MP and Wrestling Federation of India chief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, has finally reached its end. A Delhi court in Rouse Avenue has finished hearing the case regarding allegations of sexual harassment made by several women wrestlers. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashwani Panwar has reserved the final judgment, which is expected to be announced on August 3.

The legal journey began after a chargesheet was filed three years ago. The trial itself kicked off in July 2024. During this time, the court examined many witnesses from an original list of 43 people. While some witnesses were dropped, the remaining ones provided their testimonies.
