The timing of this is also pretty interesting. This huge career shift comes just a few days after Nitish Kumar celebrated a major milestone he just turned 75 years old on March 1st. Many are seeing this as a strategic transition for the veteran politician.
But he isn't the only one from his team making moves today. His party colleague from the Janata Dal (United) – or JD(U) for short – Ramnath Thakur, is also going to be submitting his nomination as a candidate.
